Clad in brick and stone to complement the other buildings on this exclusive private family estate in the Lake George Region, the cottage features standing seam copper roofing, locally quarried stone by Champlain Stone Ltd. and solid vertical grain fir doors that reflect the natural features found on this picturesque site. Designed for use in all seasons, the cottage is heated with a high-efficiency gas fired boiler with in-floor radiant heat combined with a high performance thermal envelope. Recycled brick from a late 1800’s Chicago warehouse were combined with the locally quarried stone to provide a structure borne of materials common in the early twentieth century.
