The third home built in the Moss Creek Subdivision, this barn inspired house allows for a very open and casual main living level incorporating traditional barn vernacular with some modern queues. Small cottage style windows are located on the North side which transition to large ganged windows on the South side. A central stair connects all three levels of this house with an open clerestory above that allows for sensible integration of passive cooling and passive heating strategies. The stair acts as the central axis point of the house which extends beyond the classic “barn” rectangle and is principally surrounded in glass to allow fantastic views of the surrounding mountains and nearby pond.
