The clients, fast-paced but conscientious doctors, needed space to care for a large number of patients. The interiors allowed a quick turn-around of patients with a central reception and open treatment area adjacent to the waiting room. More private adjustment spaces are offered as well. The building is constructed of natural and non-volatile organic compound (VOC) materials and efficient mechanical systems. High operable windows and abundant perimeter glazing provided natural ventilation and day lighting which dramatically improved the quality of the space for both doctors and patients. The offices are a result of the combined nature-can-heal mentality of the doctors and the environmental design created by the Phinney Design Group.
